Korppoo series 2025. These paintings emerged from listening to the sounds around me and allowing each sound to find its own form, place, and colour. I am also interested in synaesthesia. What is the relationship to landscape without the sense of sight, if one draws or paints? What is the color of water, what is the color of sound? How can sensations, sounds, scents, and other perceptions be transformed into the visual? Is the end result a breakdown in communication and chaos, or a connection reached through intuition?
